stilettos

in addition to the varying strangeness that i encountered this weekend, i arrived at work this morning with two strained possibly sprained ankles...one of which spent its sunday purple and blue and iced and elevated.
Why? you ask?
well let me give you the simple details...
this weekend was "the photoshoot". for any of you who know what snapshot is or what its about...you may realize how important this photoshoot was for the better of our humble little night. thus began the pressure to capture the essance of what we want snapshot to be...
along with jackie, sienna, adam, frankie the stylist, andrea, terry, and yumi, i skipped over to avenue a and 1st st from my home which is on 2nd ave & 6th st. jackie decided to wear the stilettos she would be coveting while modeling on the trip over to the location and about halfway thru realized that her feet hurt terribly. i, being the helpful and loving producer/director of said shoot, offered to switch my flip flops
for the infamous stilettos. having not worn stilettos ever let alone no heels for about 5 or 6 years, i oddly clumped my way about 5 or 6 blocks to the location. once there, we began our hurried shoot and captured the essence of snapshot...or so we hope. after returning home, i soon realized that my feet were aching in areas i wasnt sure existed before this incident. i awoke the next morning with severe discoloration on the assumed "never used before" area of my ankle. i was therefore unable to return the $350 diane vonfurstenburg dress that i had purchased at bloomingdale's specifically for the shoot, until myself and the designer realized that the new bloomies had just opened up in SoHo. next time you see frankie, be sure to ask him about the diane vonfurstenburg incident in which the sales lady seemed o so happy to see me purchase, tho i being completely unaware of what the fuck she was even talking about pretty much ignored her, thinking she was talking to someone else in line named diane.
the photo shoot came out well, my foot will heel(pun intended), the dress was returned thus restoring normalcy to my bank account, and the stress was relieved upon delivering the result of the photo shoot to my beloved graphic designer and forever friend miss bertalotto in boston.
happy ending.
