bad dj's
really know how to ruin a party...which is probably why any of you who were at snapshot last night weren't feeling the music until daryl came on a little after midnight. i must apologize to all for the lack of inspiration last night and the poor selection of tracks from your little dj over here. my mood was off, the rain scared away our patrons, i didnt have much sleep because of the illness at my abode, i could still barely stand due to the recent stiletto incident, and i started the night off way too slow. everyone was in a strange mood last night. it was entertaining to watch the snapshot crew show up one by one each of us in some sort of funk and then to see the result of the combination. the night, overall, really didnt turn out as bad as i am inferring, it actually went pretty well. we still have a lot of work to do...but look out for snapshot to be THE sunday pride party in NYC for EVERYONE. thats whats in the works.

i am going to ask ms j out on a date tonight...
i want to take her out to dinner to celebrate her promotion and the fact that we will soon be able to go to the gym together on our lunch breaks.
i hope she says yes (fingers crossed).
it does seem as though i have a lot of people to take out to dinner these days. there's jodi, whom i've owed said dinner to for months now (i was also supposed to take her out when she first got me this job...but my ass was broke), karen, who's birthday was on saturday but i was too busy fucking up my ankles and taking flashy pictures to attend her soiree at Rose's Turn thus leaving me with the option to spend some qt with her at dinner which i will of course purchase, and there will always be toni-marie, whom i will forever be taking out to dinner...but thats just how it goes. we switch of between broke-dom. when im piss ass broke, she buys, when she's piss ass broke, i buy. when we're both piss ass broke, we make rice. ah the joys of being broke in a relationship...this will all change now that missy has a JOB. good work toni.
this will be a long day.
